Turtle Swims From Indonesia to Oregon

In Bangkok, Thailand a leatherback turtle was tracked swimming from the coast of the Papua, Indonesia to Oregon. Researchers say that this may be longest trip for breeding and feeding sites. In 2003, they tried to track nine turtles but the batteries gave out. The little turtle traveled a 12,774-mile journey, and took it 647 days.
